This series combines HRV and dehumidifier into one unit.

It can work as an HRV and a dehumidifier or as a whole system in different seasons.

Working Principle of Heat Recovery Ceiling Ducted Dehumidifier CD-HR Series

The system is based on the two-way airflow system, where there is exchange of heat between fresh air and exhaust air. The energy recovery module is efficient to quickly absorb heat and release heat to ensure sufficient heat exchange between the air. The air discharged from the outside and the fresh air supply into the room are exchanged in the heat exchange device. When the indoor exhaust air and the fresh air flow through the heat exchanger core in a positive crossover manner, the airflow on both sides is crossing over with each other, but not in contact. The temperature difference and the partial pressure difference of air cause a heat and mass transfer phenomenon when the two air flows pass through the partition plate, a total heat exchange process will happen.

Once the fresh air is partially cooled down, it will then pass through the dehumidification system that will be dehumidified and the air will be purified with G4 Pre-Filter, F7 Secondary Filter, and H13 high-efficiency HEPA filter. The purified and dried comfort fresh air will then be supplied into the treated room. Whereby at the same time, the humid, damp, and smelly indoor air will be exhausted out and replace with fresh purified air.

The unit is built with energy efficiency and to provide comfortable fresh air for the indoor. This equipment is designed to allow the machine to effectively handle the flow of air in the natural hot or cold weather. This unit includes a direct expansion cooling system and a full heat exchange system for energy recovery and replacement of exhaust and fresh air that meets requirement of the modern standards.

* A mini measuring level stuck on the bottom side of the unit, which helps to keep the balance during installation.

* An electric heater can be added to further dry air heating.

* Cross flow heat recovery core is made of hydrophilic coating aluminum foil with a high efficiency of 70%.

* It uses a name-brand compressor Panasonic or Embraco, with eco-friendly refrigerant.

* The low-noise and high-static pressure double-speed or step-less speed-regulating centrifugal fan meets the adjustment and switching of varied air rates and pressures.

* It comes with primary, medium, and HEPA filters to remove hair, pet fur, dust, smoke particles, fine dust, pollen, and PM2.5 particles in the air. It has UV light and a negative ion generator to ensure fresh and clean indoor air.

* The evaporator and condenser are epoxy-coated for better durability and corrosion resistance. It is also washable for maintenance service.

* The heat exchange coil is made of high-efficiency copper tubes with blue hydrophilic-coated aluminum fins. The condensate pan is made of SUS304.
